All Star Blackbeard’s scuba diving liveaboards have been operating in The Bahamas since the late 70s. All Star Blackbeard’s is composed of two identical 65-foot dive liveaboard sailboats, the Sea Explorer and Morning Star. These trips are geared toward divers of all levels, including new and experienced divers, singles, couples, groups, scouts, mother/father – son/daughter outings, and fun-loving people. Basically, anyone adventurous who loves to dive!
Camaraderie
Make new friends fast. There’s nowhere to hide aboard our two sailboats, and by the end of day one, everyone will know your name and divers will be sharing dive stories, tips, jokes and a rum punch under a star-filled sky.
And when we say “nowhere to hide,” it’s because your “cabin” is a bunk with a curtain. Everyone is given equally impressive accommodations!

We set sail from Nassau and travel to the Exuma Cays.
In this area of The Bahamas, we count more than 100 dive sites and, weather permitting, near Eluethera. During your adventure, travelers will have the chance to dive up to 19 times per week. The diversity and variety of dives during this trip will include time at reefs, wrecks and walls. Highlights are blue holes and high speed drift dives.

Dining
Our galley is small, but it’s big on food prep to power and energize our divers throughout the day.
Our sailors are served three solid meals each day – breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks. A fruit hammock hangs in the salon so you can dig into it any time. Our coffee is strong to get you amped up for the day, and there are plenty of other choices to keep everyone hydrated while playing in the Bahamian sun.
Once diving is done, and if you’re of legal age, enjoy a nice cold beer or some of our famous rum punch.
We’ll throw the fishing lines out whenever we can. If the fish are biting – wahoo, mahi and tuna are most common catches – we’ll gladly cook it up for everyone to taste. Not to worry, we have plenty of food in the galley if they aren’t biting.
If you have special dietary needs, note them on the Trip Application. With advance notice, our chef can prepare special dishes, such as vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free options.

Deposits / Payments
Individuals – $300.00 per person confirms the space. The balance is due 4 months prior to departure. Bahama taxes and port fees are due with the final payment.

Cancellation Policy
Individuals:
- More than 4 months prior to departure, a full refund, less a 5% cancellation fee.
- Less than 4 months prior to departure, all payments are forfeited. If the trip departs full, we will issue a full refund, less 5% cancellation fee.
NOTE: Policy for Trip Interruption Due to a Named Storm: A future credit will be offered for any missed days, with no expiration date for using the credit. We understand your busy schedules and the need to plan. There is no refund for cancellations due to weather.
Travel Protection
It is recommended that all passengers purchase travel protection to help protect themselves and their trip investment. It is also recommended that all divers have diving accident insurance. For more information and to purchase dive and travel insurance, visit the providers below:
- Diveassure: For annual combination trip and dive accident insurance.
- Travelex: Travel protection for a single trip. You may choose the ULTIMATE policy and select the optional ADVENTURE COVERAGE upgrade, which waives the policy exclusions for extreme sports such as scuba diving at depths more than 75′. Purchase of Travelex insurance must be within 21 days of your initial deposit date to be eligible for pre-existing medical condition coverage and certain trip cancellation or interruption reasons.
- Short-term dive insurance policies can be purchased through DAN World.

The Vessels
Blackbeard’s has proven to be our most economical entry point. If you are looking for privacy and luxury, you’ve come to the wrong place. We maximize every square inch of our vessels. Pack light, or it will be stored on the dock.

- Bunks – doubles and singles in upper and lower berths – come complete with a privacy curtain

What are the fees for on All Star Blackbeard’s?
The fees cover the Bahamas government taxes and fees.
Can I rent dive gear on All Star Blackbeard’s?
Yes. If you do not have your own equipment, we have Scuba Pro “top of the line” dive gear available for rent. We have BCs, regulators, dive computers, wet suits, dive lights, masks and fins.
For information and pricing, click here. For night dives the minimum requirement is two light sources: a dive light plus a backup dive light, a non-strobing marker light or a chemical light stick (cyalume). Cyalumes are $3.00* USD each and are sold on board.

We do not store our gear at the dock so last minute requests may not be available.

How do I get to the All Star Blackbeard’s dock?
Blackbeard’s sailboats dock at the Nassau Harbour Club Marina on East Bay Street, right across from the Starbucks. The ride is approximately 30-40 minutes from the airport to the dock. It is not that far but slow down, Mon! You are on island time now. If you need ground transfers while in Nassau, we can assist. You can make the ground transfer arrangements online or call our office at least 3 days prior to your departure. For each pick-up, the cost is $18.00 per person one-way. If you prefer to take a taxi or miss the cut-off date, taxis are readily available at the airport.
What time can we board Blackbeard’s?
For flight planning purposes boarding is 12:00pm on Saturday and shove off by 3:00pm. Please be on board by 1:00pm at the latest. The latest we recommend landing is 12:00pm so that you have time to clear Bahamas Customs and Immigration and transfer to the dock. Once on board lunch is served; you will some have time to get settled in and then attend a mandatory safety briefing before we depart Nassau.
What time do we disembark Blackbeard’s?
Blackbeard’s returns to Nassau on the following Thursday afternoon. Dinner is served on board at the dock and then you can spend the last evening exploring Nassau with your new friends! All passengers must disembark by 9:00am on Friday morning. If you have a flight later in the day, you may leave your luggage in the lobby while you sightsee. Your last dive is complete by early afternoon on Thursday. Plan your flight home according to your “NO FLY” standard from your certifying agency.
